The Circulatory System is an organ system that deals with the blood and heart of an organism. This system passes nutrients, gases, hormones, blood to and from every cell in the body. This system helps to fight diseases as well as to stabilize body temperature and pH in order to maintain homeostasis. Fluids that move through the circulatory system are blood and lymph. Lymph is recycled blood plasma. There are many forms of the circulatory system such as open and closed system. Circulatory system is important for every animals, yet some do not even have this system within them. This page is the circulatory system for many different phyla.
